Advantages: None for me
Disadvantages: Tastes artificial
Robinson's Orange Fruit Drink
Description: 1 litre bottle. Robinsons Orange Fruit Drink concentrate.
This is a concentrated orange squash which costs around £1.60 for a 1 litre bottle. It comes in a clear plastic bottle with a paper label stating "Robinson's" in white lettering on a green background.
There are various flavours in the range, but I am afraid that having tried this one, I would not be tempted to try others.
I found that both the taste and the colour of this squash were artificial. It wasn't particularly refreshing because it tasted slightly artificial, and therefore, I felt that I needed to drink something else afterwards to take the taste away.
Robinsons Orange Fruit Drink concentrate 1 litre bottle ingredients are as follows;
Water, Orange Fruit from Concentrate (12%), Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Sugar, Citric Acid, Acidity Regulator (Sodium Citrate), Preservatives (Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Metabisulphite), Sweeteners (Aspartame, Saccharin), Flavourings, Stabiliser (Cellulose Gum), Colour (Beta-Carotene) Contains a Source of Phenylalanine
There isn't much else that I can say really. It was disappointing because this is a very well known brand. It is on sale in most shops and seems to be quite popular. I assumed that it would be nice on that basis but it was actually a let down so I won't be buying it again. A big thumbs down from me!
Summary: Not worth the money in my opinion

- 27/10/09 You need to play football for an hour and a half before drinking it...then it tastes divine. |
