I must be honest, I absolutely adore almost every dilutable squash that Robinsons produce. I am only young so I still have quite a liking for squash as it's what i was brought up with. I also do a lot of sport so I need to consume a lot of liquid and squash allows you to drink a lot of water with just a bit of flavour. I much prefer squash to soft drinks such as Coca Cola for two reasons. The first is that squash does a better job at quenching your thirst and Coke makes you feel even more thirstry. The second is that soft drinks are very unhelathy. They contain lots of sugar and sweetners which are bad for you. Some scientists have also said that you may contract throat cancer if you consume fizzy drinks on a regular basis.

Now back to the product itself. I have pretty much worked my way through the Robinsons' entire product range. I started off drinking just original orange and sometimes original apple and blackcurrant. I enjoyed these for a while but they don't offer the greatest flavour and taste. I decided therefore, to try high juice of which all of the flavours are very nice and have more of a taste. These were fine for a while, but high juice is the most expensive product in the Robinsons' range. I eventually settled on orange fruit and barley.

I enjoy Robinsons fruit and barley orange because it tastes superb. I think i could go on drinking it forever and never get bored. It tastes a bit more 'up-market' than the standard original orange squash of Robinsons squash. It's a more complete and fulfilling product. It gives a sense of quality and it could be classed as a posh product. It also smells very 'orangey', you don't get the impression that they have thrown in a load of sweetners and artificail flavouring. It is also well presented, in a very simple but effective bottle. It is easily distinguishable in the kitchen and even on the shop shelf.

This product is what I would like to h
ave in the fridge or cupboard, for when we have visitors. Robinsons is a household name and is associated with high quality. Visitors have always enjoyed a glass of orange fruit and barley and they often ask for another. It can become quite addictive and you just want more and more. It's alright to drink a lot of this, because it is reccomended that people drink a litre of water per day, to stay healthy.

I could sit here for hours and hours to try and think of something that lets the product down. It's impossible. The flavour and taste is great, the smell is heavenly and the packaging is more than adequate. There isn't any point in me trying to justify a bad point because there aren't any.

The price of Robinsons fruit and barley orange, does vary greatly in different stores. I buy mine from ASDA, for £0.96p, and this is cheapest price I have come across. ASDA also often run a promotion on fruit and barley and the current offer is, 'any three flavours for £2', so check it out. If you go to a convenience store, you may have to pay well over £1. I know you do have to pay that bit extra for the 'convenience', but it's still a bit too much.
