Advantages: Lovely Taste, Lasts Long, Economical, Thirst-Quenching
Disadvantages: Larger Bottles Not Easy To Handle
Robinsons orange squash is an ideal drink to have in your house as it is economical and tasty. You can buy a 1 litre, 2 litre or 3 litre bottle at around £1.00, £2.00 and £2.93 respectively. I would recommend the largest bottle, as it is cheaper for the quantity you get and will last a long time.
The flavour can get a bit repetitive and sickening at times if it's the only drink you're having, so I would recommend some other flavours of Robinsons Squash too. Robinsons are well known for their drinks and their orange squash is perhaps the best one you will find on the market.
The squash comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a green cap, which easily unscrews. The bottles are simply shaped like any usual bottle and the larger ones can be hard to handle, as they don't have any aiding shape to them. I would say this is one of the drawbacks to this product and perhaps the only one.
The squash is bright orange and stands out on the shelf because of this. Make sure you don't pick up another flavour that looks similar by accident. The squash has a very intense orange aroma, as it is concentrated. You must dilute it with water rather than having it straight out the bottle, as it's not meant to be had this way and would be much too strong. I like to have around 1 part squash to 4 parts water, but this ratio will differ from person to person. You should try to keep the amount of squash down as this will make it last a lot longer and work out as an economically tasty drink.
Having this will work out a lot cheaper in the long run as opposed to buying fizzy drinks on a regular basis. The squash has no added sugars, which is great, as it won't rot your teeth so much. It's very thirst quenching due to the fact it has the consistency of water, as most of what you add is purely water. It has quite a strong taste even when you dilute it, which is great as it isn't so faint that it loses its' aspect of quality. It's a first-class squash drink and ideal for every household.
You can store the drink in a cupboard, although if you have room in a fridge, this may be better. This will give you cooler drinks as opposed to adding warm squash to cold water. If you haven't tried this already, I would definitely recommend it. The squash has an authentic taste, lasts ages and is very economical.
