Advantages: handy for trips out

Disadvantages: none

Since my daughter has started at school I buy robinsons fruit shoots on a regular basis as she has one each day in her packed lunch box, I try to buy them more in bulk as it saves quite a lot of money doing it that way.

Asda have them on offer at the moment priced at £2.38 for 8 200ml bottles of standard fruit shoot or £1.50 for 4 the H2O flavoured water variety, but I stick to the standard for pack up's. I tend to buy 4 packs as I know I have enough for a month then.

They come in a variety of flavours which are apple, strawberry, blackcurrant and apple, orange and tropical, so I buy an assortment of each, but my daughter doesn't like the apple one.

I have tried all the flavours too and they certainly do have a fruity taste and not too sweet as I first though they may be, I am not keen on the apple one either but I dont like apple drinks anyway, the blackcurrant one for me is as good as ribena anyday.

The bottles themselves are very secure and have a closeable push down top to hold the liquid in I usually try to stay away from blackcurrant juices as they stain if spilt, but with these bottles I don't worry. My daughter tends to drink half at school then save the rest for when she gets home and there are never any spillages in her lunch box. The bottles can then also be recycled.

Fruit shoots have no artificial sweeteners or flavourings and contain no saturates so I know I am giving my daughter a healthy drink.

I find the bottles so handy for taking out too, as they are not too big I put them in my handbag and take them to the cinema, picnics, indoor play areas, and the park, they are very convenient, and as they can be sealed they last longer too.

All round a fantastic tasty convenient little drink.

Summary: a real good buy

These can still attack the enamel so unwise to give just before bed unless of course you clean your teeth straight after. Nice review.
