Advantages: Lovely
Disadvantages: Small bottles!
I have a new addiction! Yes another one grrr... I have to own up. I'm addicted to Robinson's Fruit Shoots! I can't stop drinking them at the moment and love every single flavour (I'm reviewing the Orange and Peach flavour but other flavours are available including Apple, Strawberry, Blackcurrant and Apple, and Tropical). Not only do they come individually sold I'm pretty sure I saw these around and about in multi packs too very recently!
As I have said though I'm going to mainly review the orange and peach flavour for you and then summarise the range (as I have tried all of the flavours now lol)...
The Packaging....
My orange and peach flavoured drink comes in a bright orange plastic, small (200ml) bottle. It has a white pull up/push down section to the top with a hole in it you simply suck the drink easily through it (though the lid is completely removable for us more mature drinkers of course lol) and over that a little clear safety caps pulls on/off and around the bottle is an orange label. Now I must point out the colour of the bottle depends on your flavour! On the front I'm told it is Robinson's Fruit Shoot Juice Drink (Orange & Peach) and that it has no added sugar and down the side of the bottle is an at a glance nutritional information chart. On the back of the bottle 2 small diagrams are there to show you how to open it, nutritional information is given, with a warning about choking, contact details for Britvic are given (the manufacturer of these products), size is stated (as I've listed already)I'm told the best before date is stamped on the neck of the bottle (which it is in black ink), I'm told a bit about the product and ingredients are listed. It's a nice, bright and functional looking bottle.
A Bit About The Product According To The Back Of The Bottle....
No Added Sugar (Contains Naturally Occurring Sugars)
No Artificial Colours Or Preservatives
Fruit juice From Concentrate
Vitamins B,C
Suitable For Vegetarians
The Drink Itself....
I immensely enjoy every single one of the flavours on the market. They all smell as you would expect them to and some are lightly coloured the same way. The orange one I'm sipping at the moment is a light orange in colour, is flat (because it's juice so no bubbles) and smells sweet and of oranges and peaches.
Taste wise it's packed with fruitiness. It's nicely and naturally sweetened and there is nothing fake to the flavours within this.
It just delivers on flavours and really is fresh, light, enjoyable and most of all really does quench thirst though addictive...yup they sure are! They are so nice and good quality!
Perfect size for kiddies or adults, secure and safe to carry around, they're not too unhealthy for us and make a very pleasant change from drinking loads of carbonated soft drinks all day long lol.
