Robinsons are a popular brand, you can always find their concentrated squash in supermarkets in various flavours. They don't stop there though, they even sell Fruit Shoots, diluted fruit juices in conveniently sized bottles for those out and about times.
You can buy them in larger 300ml bottles or smaller bottles, the smaller bottles often come in 4, 8 and 12 packs in larger supermarkets. I stick to buying a single bottle when out and about though as I don't fancy heaving aboout 12 bottles and struggling with them lol!
You can buy fruit shoots in their plastic bottles, in many flavours - the only flavour I ever seem to buy though is blackcurrant and apple. You can also buy strawberry and orange and more.
A 300ml bottle contains;
15 calories
2.4g sugar
fat trace
0g saturates
0g salt
A Fruit Shoot contains
No artificial colours or flavours
Low sugar
Fruit juice from cencentrate
and they are suitable for vegetarians
The plastic bottles come with a screw off lid with a pull up top, you simply pull it up to drink out of the way you would a sports bottle and push it back down to secure your drink inside.
All of the flavours taste just as you'd expect them too like a fruity juice. They are not too strong nor too weak like squash can be sometimes, they are tastier than most squashes that you can buy. I find fruit shoots a satisfying thirst quenching drink especially on hot summers days - when we have them lol! They are quite a sweet drink despite their low sugar content in my opinion but not overly sweet to give you that sickly sugar rush. Because they are so tasty, refreshingly fruity I tend to drink a full bottle quite quickly as it can be so easily squirted down my throat with a gentle squeeze of the plastic bottle - these are not the cheapest of drinks to buy though so to drink them that fast means having to buy more resulting in me having an empty purse, especially as a 300ml single bottle is roughly 65p in newsagents these days.
The flavour of the drinks are colour co-ordinated on the bottles for example the blackcurrant and apple flavour you can find in the Purple bottles and the Strawberry flavour you can find in the Red bottles.
Fruit Shoots cant be missed or confused on the shelves in their bright coloured bottles which makes them a hit with children especially although it does warn on the bottles that they are not suitable for children under 36 months - this because they can be a choking hazard due to the plastic cap on top etc. Although with parental guidance these shoots do make a tasty difference to a childs drinking regime.
