There’s something I’ve got to admit to you; I know this wine far better than I should. We are old friends who have supported each other through the good times and the bad. Whole cases of it fall off supermarket shelves into my trolley and I could swim in the lake that we have joyfully drunk. It’s odd to see a wine with a name like GTR, isn’t it? It stands for Gewürztraminer Riesling, which is why they just put “GTR” on the bottle, unless you get one of the bottles where they put they full name on.
