Today I will review the exotic juice drink by Rubicon in the lychee variety!

Shopper's appeal
I have bought Rubicon juices several times, usually at little convience shops in London as a refreshment inbetween shopping. I really like these juices as they come in many exotic flavours like mango, pineapple, guava and lychee. I get dehydrated quickly, so I often buy drinks on the go and I can't really just live on water all the time.
Lychees I generally like. I love it when they give you a little drink with a lychee in it at chinese restaurants and I often buy canned lychees and eat them just by themselves.
So I just had to try this drink!

The packaging
The packaging is mainly white with a pattern of lychees all around it. On the front you get the big blue Rubicon logo and the flavour's name. On the sides of the pack, the ingredients are listed in many languages and there is also a box giving information on the nutritional value of the drink.
There is also a list of the juice's benefits. The juice is supposed to have been made of the finest, most aromatic hand-picked lychees and it's not made from concentrates. It also doesn't contain and preservatives or artifical colours. The juice is also supposed to be good source of vitamin C and zinc. The fact that Rubicon has 25 years of experiences in the field of juices is also mentioned and the website's address (www.rubiconexotic.com) is also given.
I think the packaging is quite pretty and already makes you lust for the juice!

The taste
I really liked the taste of this juice! It's sweet and refreshing at the same time, which I think rarely is the case with juices. The juice also tastes of real lychees and not artificial. It reminds me of the juice that is in the can when you buy canned lychees, but it is not as sweet. Of course the drink is sweet because that's what lychees are like, but if you like their natural sweetness, you'll like this as well.
So, I'm really satisfied with the taste! I couldn't get enough of the juice and had to really restrain myself from drinking the whole carton in one go.
The juice is also nice for mixing drinks and goes well with wodka or fruity alcohol! ;)

Conclusion
I think all Rubicon juices are really tasty, but Lychee has to be my favourite variety. It tastes fruity and is really refreshing! I think a lot of juices aren't refreshing and give you a sticky feeling in your mouth, but this one really makes you feel as refreshed as coke or water. I also believe the juice is a good source of Vitamin C - a perfect little nourishing boost!

Summary: The best lychee juice I know!
