Advantages: The price I guess.

Disadvantages: Everything other than the price!

My mum has been buying Sainsbury's Basics Teabags for a while now and her reason behind buying them is that both her and my Dad are both coffee drinkers so the only time they use tea bags is when they have visitors which is becoming less and less often.

Unfortunately for me I am one of those tea drinking visitors that has to put up with these god awful tea bags that taste of virtually nothing and do not even have a scent like a good cup of tea.

I have made myself a cup of tea with these a few times now and it seems as though there is no scent to the tea at all and you have to leave the tea bag in the water for an age to get any sort of colour.

As I like a lot of milk in my tea I have to leave the tea bag in for what seems like forever to get anything other than a milky white colour and any sort of taste.

With my chosen brand of tea bags (PG tips) I can basically just dip the bag in and out a few times and I have a great aroma, perfect colour and great taste.

My mum tells me these tea bags are less than 50p for a box of 80 which is certainly very cheap but as they do not taste good then they ought to be cheap.

Definitely not recommended!
