Advantages: None.

Disadvantages: Awful Taste, Waste Of Money.

It's quite rare for me to drink tea or coffee as I am generally a fan of cold drinks no matter what the time of year. However, I recently was offered a cup of tea at my Mum's place and promptly said yes as I was in a tea drinking kind of mood!

My Mum brought me over a cup of tea with two sugars in and when I took a sip I was instantly met with a disgusting, harsh taste that was quite chemical-like and I actually refused to drink anymore and had a little gag after trying tea made with these tea bags.

I had a look at the tea bags and while they look a little thin they really do look like bog standard tea bags to be honest. My fiance was also drinking a cup of tea made with these bags and his seemed to taste not so bad so I gues it's a bit hit and miss with these teabags. Also, my Mum doesn't seem to mind these, I guess that's because of the cheap price.

These really do make a fairly weak tea, even when you are lucky enough to get a tea bag that's not too bad tasting. Using two tea bags seemed to completely ruin the brew even more than just one and although it was indeed stronger no amount of sugar or milk took away the harsh taste.

While these may be just 28p for 80 tea bags I would far rather push the boat out a little and buy some typhoo or PG tips as tea is clearly one of those things that you just can't scrimp on.

I definitely have not exaggerated about how bad that first cup was and these tea bags are definitely something that I won't be using again, ever, in the future. I would not recommend these and unfortunately I am going to be joining the crowd with this one and voting them a 1/5. If I could vote less than 1 I definitely would as they taste like the sweepings from the floor of the tea bag making area, or what I imagine they would taste like if they were sweepings. These are foul and I would strongly recommend you either go without if you can't afford some better ones or just buy some decent tea bags.

Summary: An Awful Teabag.
