They are very similar, the only difference is that the Sainsbury's Bourbon is a little sweeter. It is also very nice straight or over ice, it doesn't taste as strong as JD or Jim Beam which I personally find a good thing. But with a mixer I can't really tell the difference. I was always a vodka girl until I met my current partner who's drink of choice is Jack Daniels and Coke. I tried it and loved it. However between the two of us we did drink rather a lot of it and it was getting quite expensive! I was in Sainsbury's one day and I spotted their own brand Kentucky Bourbon, and it was only £10.49 for 70cl compared to the JD which was £18.79. So I put a bottle in my basket and grabbed some diet coke to go with it. My partner was not convinced! (he's a bit of a brand snob).
