Well, I remember having this a couple of years back at the parental Christmas dinner and enjoying it very much, my step-father commenting at the time that is was "the kind of sweet white you'll like" - he wasn't wrong! In addition to that this was another one priced at only £2.99 for a standard 75cl bottle so how could I say no?! Yes, fellow wine connoisseurs, I have been shopping at Sainsburys again - I am usually faithful to Tesco but I happened to be near this supermarket and picked up a couple of bottles - purely for research purposes of course! So what's on the menu this time? Sainsburys South African Medium White Wine, that's what. Uh huh, another white with sweet leanings - you know me by now! For some strange reason this one has a simple sketch of a hippo on the label - don't know why but it's different!
