I recently got back from a holiday in Sunny Espanol, holiday time means beer time in my language. Not in a binging 'I'm a little goblin can you take me home I can't feel my face' sort of way but in a 'I'm a silky smooth pussycat who runs on love' kind of way. In such a lovely hot climate I would usually plump for a more refreshing beer ...  Read the complete review

One of the many joys of hitting Spanish soil is the knowledge that after a few hours basking in the sunshine I'll be able to cool off and be refreshed. Sitting in a shady tapas bar by the sea with a delicious bottle of San Miguel - yum. It's a light refreshing beer that certainly hits the spot. But that is in Spain. When you return to England ...  Read the complete review

San Miguel Premium is a very tasty lager beer thats got a really sweet, refreshing aftertaste that is great for the cash. If you fancy a bit of a change, it is definitely worth a try. Like any alcohol, it is best enjoyed in moderation. However this one moreso, as it starts to get a little bit sickly after the third or fourth pint. It is something ...  Read the complete review

I drank a bottle of this against my will the other night, in a cramped bar full of student types with funny coloured spectacles. There was no beer on tap, only bottles and this brand was the only one I could make the bar tender understand as I shouted "have you got any Carlsberg?". His failure to hear me on account of the extremely loud ...  Read the complete review

Rocking in at 5.4 % ABV (alcohol by volume), San Miguel is one fo the strongest lagers you're likely to see on tap in a pub. As a result of its strength, and often the trickiness and costliness of stocking it, you're also unlikely to see it in most pubs, with them tending to stick to more common brand names over here int he UK like Stella and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review On San Miguel (199 words)

I like this drink. After playing tennis today I took a bottle out from the fridge and drank it almost in one breath. It was deliciously smooth and refreshing. It also has a certain stength which, I understand, is probably the aspect of it most likely to either draw or drive away favourable reviews. Its strength is what, I guess, to speak ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on San Miguel

Yes the San Miguel Premium is nothing special, basically because it is brewed over here, it is palatable but you can't beat the San Miguel Export, an absolutely superb drink. Again everybody has their own opinion but try Mahou 5.5% this is a very good bottled beer.

I must ask what others see in this over-rated drink, i think it's ranked 5th best premium lager on a ciao.co.uk, I can't for the life of me understand why. I won't be all negative as their is the odd good thing, but on the whole it's really not. The cost, an often complaint of the drink wasn't a problem for me as the shop was selling it ...  Read the complete review

I'm not a big beer fan myself, I usually have to disguise the tase with a gernerous helping of lime juice but the one beer i do enjoy is San Miguel. When i think of it it reminds me of many a happy afternoon sitting in a beach bar in Spain watching the world go by and ocasionally launching myself into the sea for a cooling off. ...  Read the complete review

I love beer. I know that will not shock anyone who knows me and my normal Friday nights out but are you aware of what beers I drink? We all go for Budweiser if there is nothing else because, well, everywhere sells bottle of Bud dont they? It is possibly for this reason that so many people are missing out on the other bottled delights ...  Read the complete review

My wife and I have spent a lot of time in Spain over the past couple of years. Aside from the gorgeous weather, the thing I miss most when I'm back in Britain is definitely the lovely amber colour of a chilled San Miguel. Most people, including myself, associate San Miguel with Spain, but it was in fact first brewed by a Spaniard in ...  Read the complete review

How many of you are aware that Spain is Europe’s third largest producer of beer. The only two countries surpassing Spain are Germany and the U.K. The most famous of Spain’s beers and the most well known is San Miguel. The Spanish beer industry dates back over a 100 years and San Miguel was first produced ...  Read the complete review

Spanish beer is, to the English, an unfamiliar flavour. Most beers from the UK are bitter or very gassy and certainly don't have the sweet flavour of San Miguel. San Miguel is a popular import to these shores and it's fair to say that it's also very popular in Spain itself. The Spanish drink a lot of bottled beer, which ...  Read the complete review

I had a particularly bad experience drinking this Spanish tipple. I was 14 at the time on holiday in Tenerife. I had just entered the world of under age drinking and I thought, seeing as I was on holiday, it would be rude not to sample the local brew. It was a big mistake. San Miguel is a very strong and unpleasant lager (5.4% I think) ...  Read the complete review
