Savanna Peach Schnapps is a peach schnapps similar to Archers, but for about half the price. A 70cl bottle of this will set you back just £5.99 which is pretty cheap for a bottle that size of 21.5% alcohol. A bottle of Archers peach schnapps, which is 20% alcohol, would set you back almost double at nearly £12 for a 70cl bottle! Is it worth paying that price to get the trusted brand Archers instead of getting this Savanna version? No.

Savanna is one of the nicest fruity spirits I've had in a long time. I had it neat the first time a tried it, splashed over a little ice. I wanted to see if I liked it before saying yes to a glass with a mixer. I thought it was really peachy, with a kick of sugar but also a really smooth, clean after taste. I like that the taste that lingers in my mouth is not a kick of alcohol, but a little twist of peach.

This is brilliant served cold with ice and a splash of lemonade. I'm sure you could experiment with fruit juices and things if you're more oc a cocktail person though. It says on the bottle to enjoy it chilled, so I take that to mean it likes being kept in the fridge, and that's where we've kept it.

You can get this from Tesco if you want to buy it. I have to agree with all the other's who've given this five stars - I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a cheaper alternative to the more expensive fruity spirits on the market.
