Off to my local shop the other day with my mum for a few bits and pieces and ended up making the biggest mistake I have made ina long time. I love fresh apple juice and I mean love it, so when I saw a brand of apple juice that was completely new to me and was packaged and presented in such a way as to make it seem very up market and attractive I just had to have some. The brand in question is Saxon and the bottle f apple juice set me back the princely sum of £3.15. Now as I say the bottle and the presentation stand that the bottles stood on made the drink seem very appealing and I guess the price also tricked me into thinking I was getting a quality product ... A visit to my aunties in Clackmannanshire introduced me to Saxon apple juice and I would much rather it hadn’t. Normally I love any and all fruit juices but I was repulsed by this stuff, it was honestly disgusting. When presented with the bottle you will immediately think of a refreshing pure fruit drink and when opening the bottle your feelings will stay pretty much the same as the smell is very nice but its when you begin to pour you will first be put off by this drink. With Easter impending and little brother home for the holiday, shopping has taken on a whole new meaning for Dad and I. Little Brother normally becomes agitated with the ways in which the cupboards are allegedly lacking upon his return (“How? How are you managing without soap and toothpaste?!
