Advantages: Healthy and goodness in it, full of vitamin C... :)

Disadvantages: Calories are quite high as its concentrated... (:

This appeared in the fridge one day and 'seemed' to have my name on it ;)

Hang on a minute I'm not called 'Schweppes Orange Made From Concentrate', lol!

This little glass bottle (recycle remember!) contained 200ml of nice looking orange juice, a good colour and is bottled in Great Britain under license from Coca-Cola. It had a use by date of June next year and a metal cap lid...

There is a little label on the front that says that Schweppes 1783 have been in business since this date and a really pretty label with orange and silver saying there is only one natural ingredient and that is the juice of extracted oranges.

The calories are 47 per 100ml with 11.2g of sugars and no fats or salts either. The protein amount is only 0.5g.

The flavour is really nice, although this is a flat soft drink I didn't mind it not being fizzy as it was very refreshing in its own right very cold. There wasn't much pulp in the bottom which I was pleased about as I don't like bits in orange juice, it was really well sieved.

You might expect the taste to be quite bitter but it was quite sweet without being too sickly.

This size was just enough and reminded me of my mum making ice lollies in the freezer for me when I was a youngster, lol! Orange juice is lovely with breakfast as well, and this would be a great size to take out somewhere instead of water or a can of pop.

The texture was quite thick and sticky, but I think it would be fine diluted a bit with lemonade if you wanted to add bubbles :)

The colour was really nice and it felt almost freshly squeezed, and importantly it is a very healthy option and I think it should count as one of our five a day with that amount. Some soft pops have less calories in than this but it is a good source of vitamin C too...

Five stars for a good drink option from a high quality brand name :)

Summary: I liked this drink, they have got the sweetness just right

Not entirely sure why you mentioned the protein content - do you expect protein in fruit juice? :-p
