It is exceptionally smooth and full of flavour. It is finished in Oloroso cask-wood. 3) This whisky is from Upper Spey and has a dry, malty taste. It is finished in Port-wine cask-wood. 4) Oban is from the Western Highland and rates as my 2nd favourite. It has a rich fruit flavour and is delicately dry.
