I have been visiting the Southampton branch for about 4 years now and now more recently the Winchester branch.
The idea of shakeaway is brilliant, you can have either a really sickly or healthy milkshake, with a choice of toppings, fillings or thicking products.
They also cater for people suffering from milk, nut or gluten allergies. You can get a soya shake with soya milk and icecream, and they have milk free chocolate as well if you dont fancy fruit.
Here is the process that you do when you go to a shakeaway shop:
*Get in the queue, it might be a long wait.

*Choose the size (medium or large), flavour, toppings (costs extra) and if you want real or soya milk.

*Pay at the till, show your student card to get topping for 2p or a 10% discount. Also get a loyalty card and when you get 9 milkshakes you can get the 10th free.

*Wait at the other counter, your milkshake is made before your eyes and it takes about 2 mins.

*They call out the flavour and size and then off you go.

They have so many flavours, including most cadbury chocolate bars and products. They also have fresh fruit and fruity substitute products. You can also have a detox flavour which is branflakes and things like alpen.
Some other random flavours include:
Baileys, rum truffle, cadbury fruit and nut, banana, kellogs cereal bar, caramel bar, flapjack, cherry, crunchy nut cornflakes, haribo, jaffa cake. The list is endless and you can look at their website:

Its 2.70 for a medium and large is 3.70 but you can add as many things as you want so it could get expensive. This is where the student card comes in handy.
In some stores they have a few seats and so it is sort of like an american milkshake bar.
The staff here are very efficient and can if you have special dietary requirements they can recommend a mixture that will taste great and not affect you.
My favourite flavour is chocolate fudge brownie (an actual brownie goes in!) with minstrels as a topping. I always find a medium size is sufficient as they are very filling.
Great on a hot sunny day as they are freezing cold!
