Make your own milkshake

Advantages: make your own flavours and see what you think
Disadvantages: fairly expensive, will taste horrible if you get it wrong
As some of you will already know from previous reviews, I'm a big fan of milkshake. As you can imagine I was therefore delighted to hear that a shop which sold milkshake in flavours of your own making was to open. It was whilst visiting a friend at Bournemouth University that I was first introduced to Shakeaway chain and then on trips to visit other friends in Brighton at a later stage. The first store to open was the one in Bournemouth, followed by Southampton, Brighton and Bath and then many more as the chain really took off.
I haven't been to a Shakeaway store for a long while now so I couldn't tell you that much about the variety of flavours and ingredients they do now, but I will say that whenever I've had a shake from there I've thoroughly enjoyed it. I do remember that ingredients fall into three categories and you are advised to keep these categories together, therefore avoiding mixing flavours which should result in a nice tasting milkshake so you aren't left disappointed, fruit, chocolate and sweet. This is only a guide though so you do tend to get people who think they know better, but they soon regret it when they announce to the whole store that it tastes horrible!
From what I can remember the shakes are fairly reasonably priced (around £3.00) and the company does also offer a reward system similar to the one used by Subway whereby if you buy ten milkshakes and put the stickers on your card you'll get your eleventh absolutely free, which is good.
Thanks for reading.
