Shiraz in generalAn intense black grape producing a variety wines from medium red through to rich black red. The abundance of fruit hints gives a perceived sweetness, which is balanced by tannins. The best shiraz produces full wines of deep dark colour, full of chocolate and fruit with hot spice and warm alcohol complimented by firm tannins. The Rhone in France is the true home of the Syrah and it is there that it is produced in large ... Read the complete review
