I can always remember in my early teens being given bottles of Shloer at the new year as a sort of wine substitute, it made me feel so grown up to sit with my wine glass full of grape juice joining the adults seeing in the new year. I must have inherited a taste for the stuff though because I still drink it to this day and love it but would never use it as a substitute for alcohol anymore because I love that too LOL!

Shloer is a very lightly sparkling fruit juice that comes in a few different flavours, my personal favourite being red grape. It has a very pleasant taste and is also very, very refreshing. Shloer comes in 1 litre bottles that have a very sophisticated look to them when compared with other fruit juices and almost resemble a bottle of wine.

The bottle is clear glass which allows you to see the beautiful red colour of the drink inside. Once poured you will notice two things immediately about Shloer, it has a very distinctive aroma and it as well as looking like wine also pours like a sparkling wine (very lightly sparkling as opposed to fizzy juice).

Shloer red grape juice does not contain any artificial additives or preservatives which is always a good thing in my view, it is also suitable for vegetarians.
