... favourite beers and is really pleasant to drink, it's been brewed privately in Romania since 1991 but was known before that during communism for some years. It has 5.1% alcohol and is based on a German pilsener and uses a Belgian recipe, this multicultural little Romanian beer is a top drawer effort and one that is likely to cheer up any evening! Silva Original is by far the best looking beer in Romania, it oozees quality with it's simple yet powerful logo and pleasant golden and white packaging. I've tended to drink this out of the bottle over the years but have occasionally had it poured, it comes out a clear golden colour with a nice white head that slowly subsides but generally remains there throughout the duration of the beer unless you are drinking at tortoise speed. This beer has a decent amount of carbonation and a bittersweet beer smell and taste which is joined with a bit of hoppyness when drank.
