Advantages: Tastes nice - good for you
Disadvantages: Some don't like to pay for water
Reading health magazines or health tips online, it seems like everyone is spouting the benefits of drinking lots of water these days. Drinking two litres of water every day will supposedly keep you hydrated, skin moisturised, increase vitality and help to flush out toxins.
I must admit, I do feel slighter more healthy when I drink lots of water which is why I try to drink two litres every day.
To make it easy to keep track of how much I drink, it is easier for me just to take a two litre bottle of water to work with me and sip it throughout the day until it is gone.
Plain mineral water is really nice and refreshing, but sometimes I fancy a change and try Perfectly Clear flavored water.
It comes in various flavors including lemon and lime or summer fruits.
The bottle holds exactly two litres of a still water with a touch of fruit flavor.
The taste isn't too sweet or strong, which is nice as it feels and tastes fresh and natural. It basically tastes like drinking normal water with a squeeze of juice added. It is still so there are no bloating bubbles to be found.
Looking at the ingredients, I can see that the water contains sweetners and preservatives along with the spring water - so maybe it's not a good idea to drink gallons of the stuff.
Where water is calorie free, this does contain some but not enough to worry about - just ten in a two litre bottle.
A large bottle will cost you between 69p and £1.40 depending on where you buy it from. I pay £1.09 which is quite reasonable in my opinion for a bottle which will last the whole day.
I know that some people do not like to pay for bottled water as they can get it from the tap. If you're one of those people then you might not want to try this product. For those, like me, who just prefer bottled water for some strange reason - give it a try when you fancy something a little sweeter than plan mineral water.
Summary: Refreshing and tasty

- 06/08/09 I don't think £1.09 is too bad either, especially if you consider the cost of something like a 500ml bottle of coke or plain water being around £1 in most places! x |
