Advantages: No milk required, low calorie

Disadvantages: Does not have the depth and chocolate hit of competitor products

I've bought this a couple of times since getting some free samples thrust at m whilst wandering down Oxford Street. It is a powdered, low fat (hence the name) hot chocolate drink made up by mixing with hot water rather than hot milk.

The drink is quite passable for the "hot water" variety of hot chocolate. Although I do confess to preferring those made with milk, there's no denying that those mixed up with water are invariably far more convenient (and cheaper) to make. The flavour is pretty decent and balanced, and the low fat take doesn't give this the usual blandness I associate with lower calorie products. I would not recommend this as in indulgent evening treat (e.g. for those who like to take a hot chocolate drink to bed with a good book - try Green and Black's for that!) but it is certainly a good solution for those who like a hot chocolate drink but are watching their weight. Also good to keep at work, where mixing up hot milk drinks might be more difficult than at home. Price is competitive which is a further plus point.

Summary: A worthwhile buy whose benefits outweigh the negatives

I always add a bit of milk in anyway and find this is realy tasty, much better than the likes of Options.
