yummy chocolate 40 calories fab for the figure (Skinny Cow Hot Chocolate)

Im one of those people that spend a lot of time either on a diet or thinking about losing weight. Of course like most people i dont want to give up on my sugary sweet treats and hot chocolate is one of my all time favourite luxuries.When mooching about in my local morrison I noticed that there was a skinny cow hot chocolate and thought that it was worth a try as it had a lower calorie count than my normal treat. I bought both the normal chocolate and the mint flavoured hot chocolate drink. Each plastic container has about 20 servings if you use the amount recommended on the packet and to add to the excitement there is a rather sickly sweet smiley cow on the front which of course is what everyone wants on a hot choccy packet.
Because of the less than 40 calorie count i was expecting that the taste was going to be watery and un chocolatey. I was pleasantly surprised I put the recommended 2 heaped teaspoonfuls into a mug and added almost boiled water to the powder and gave it a huge stir. There was some powder floating about on the top but if i had been a little more patient I would of made the chocolate into a paste with a little water before adding all the water and that would of rectified that little problem.
In anycase even with the floating powder on the top it tasted very chocolatey, the drink wasnt at all watery as i first imagined it would be and the chocolate taste was smooth and even throughout the drink. I think that this product is deceptive as even though it is only 40 calories it hasnt lost it taste and flavour and tastes not disimilar to normal full fat hot chocolates.

Summary: skinny cow have done it again
