Like most 23 year olds I like to have a few drinks with my friends and I like to try a wide range of drinks. I first had this drink probably about seven years ago, yes that would have made me 16 but hey. The first bottle of Smirnoff Ice I had I didnt like as it wasnt the right temperature (It's gotta be ice cold). When I was 18 I had another bottle in a pub and as it was cold it was nice, Let me tell you about this drink. It's a mix of Smirnoff Vodka and Lemon. It comes in a nice bottle which looks best when the drink is ice cold as it has a better effect than at a normal temperature. There are two different Smirnoff Ice's there is the normal one with a red ... Read the complete review

This used to be the drink of my choice when I was younger and began drinking when going out etc. However, I have completely gone off the drink now due to bad experiences and getting bored of the sickly taste. The drink is fizzy which can sometimes make you get a sore stomach which is something you definitely don't want on a night out. The flavour also has too much of a citrus, quite bitter taste at the back of your mouth which to me is not enjoyable at all. I think I have put myself off this drink entirely! However, it is a cheap drink so if you are out all night and stick to the one drink, it can be cost effective. Many pubs and bars sell these in the bottle without ... Read the complete review

Ahhhh Smirnoff chose to move into alcopops, or as Bernard Black (Dylan Moran) chooses to christen them in Black Books, "childrens booze". Without suggesting these should be given to children or anyone under legal drinking age at all (lets try keep away from the Hooch/ advertising aimed at young minds debate) it is in essence how I consider these drinks. Generally speaking, they look like pop they taste like pop and the percentage is pretty low too. This makes them a fantastic component to a slow starting evening, and fantastic for dancing with (bottle=less spillage and easier to keep an eye on). On the most part though I would go for ... The idea of combining spirits with soft drinks in a ready mixed bottle has been around for a while now and whilst a number of makes and brands have been and gone Smirnoff Ice has proved to be one of the survivors. I'm a big fan of vodka and although I usually go for vodka and tonic or with a red bull if I need an enrgy boost I do like the occasional Smirnoff Ice when I fancy a change. The drink is a clear liquid and comes in a glass bottle with the distinctive Smirnoff red label, in my local they are anything from £1.50 to £2.75 depending on whether there is an offer on. The drink combines the taste of vodka with lemons however it is the ... Read the complete review

This is not a drink that I tend to consume a lot of as it has a rather unfortunate side effect with me when I drink too much as the next day I tend to spend rather a lot of time spend sitting down in the smallest room in the house, I guess you get what I mean. Smirnoff Ice is one of the alco pop range that has suddenly made drinking hard spirits from a bottle acceptable, at least in some bars. It combines the taste of Smirnoff vodka which is one of the most popular vodka brands with the flavour of lemons in a carbonated drink. It is a cloudy white colour which you can see through the bottle and it has the distinctive red Smirnoff label, there is ... Read the complete review
