Advantages: taste nice
Disadvantages: expensive in clubs
Smirnoff Ice is an alcopop range produced by the smirnoff vodka company. They have been around for years in attempt to give younger drinkers something nice to drink.
I remember drinking these before I was legal and found them really nice. (I know I shouldnt have) I now still continue to drink these occasionally on a night out due to the lovely lemony taste that comes with them.
There are too types of smirnoff ice. The red and the black (both pictured above) Id say the red one was definatly more popular and has more of a crisp lemony taste to it this is 4.5%.
The black one does not taste as lemony, but I do prefer this one, though fail to see where I can buy it from in shops. Its of a slightly higher alcohol percentage of 5.5% which makes it the strongest alcopop ive seen.
Smirnoff is available in 2 sizes, the normal 275ml bottle or the larger 70cl bottles, though these are not available in pubs and clubs. They are also available in what I would call 'crates' of 12 or 16 and these are often on offer in supermarkets such as ASDA and Morrisons. A crate is normally priced at about £10-£15 depending on the quanity included.
You will look to pay around £3 per bottle in a club which is a ripoff, therefore i suggest you buy your own at home and drink them before you go out, or an alternative is to drink cheaper versions. V ice is another well known brand and tastes similar, but not the same as Smirnoff Ice.
Summary: For something a little girly
