Now, I doubt there are many of us who actually drink Vodka for its taste; it's not the nicest tasting (or smelling) thing in the world, but if you shop around, you can at least discover some tolerable Vodka drinks. My favourite Vodka is Russian standard, but as far as fairly affordable, readily available counterparts go, Smirnoff is the middle-ground marriage between quality product and affordability. It is worth mentioning the alcoholic volume of Smirnoff first and foremost; it is 37.5%, and so is fairly strong (much stronger than beer, and don't trick yourself into thinking you're drinking Smirnoff Ice, for Christ's sake!:P). Dependent on the size of the ... Read the complete review

Whenever I go out or drink I have to say I am someone who will mainly drink a Vodka & Coke as it is my favourite drink as I am not really a big fan of wine or alcopops. I have tried many different types of vodka I have even tried Asda's own version of vodka which I really don't mind but it is a cheaper alternative for students like me who like the spirit. There is also Red Vodka but out of them all of course I like Smirnoff best as to me it gives no horrible taste and it just tastes overall better. To some this may sounds ridiculous as some may see all vodka as being the same but I feel the quality of Smirnoff is better. The first vodka distillery was ... Read the complete review

I never used to be much of a vodka drinker- I loved my lager, and tended to stay away from spirits, apart from the occasional bottle I would be given as a gift, and then drink so as not to waste it. That all changed recently, when I began dating Chris, someone I've known and loved for ten years, about two months ago. Now, he's always been a vodka man, so when we were just friends he'd roll up to my door with a bottle of vodka for him, and some cans of beer for me. But since we've started dating, he's always at my house, and where he goes, the vodka go's too. It's only natural that I should start pinching a couple of drinks off him when I run out of lager- only ... Read the complete review

Being a bit of a party girl I have always enjoyed a drink and my work means that I get bought quite a few drinks as well so I often go for vodka and tonic, even though it does not take much to get me drunk and I become a bit of a wild thing when I'm over the limit. Smirnoff is one of the best known brands of vodka howeve it is not my favourite as I prefer Absolut if I have a choice. Smirnoff is a clear liquid and comes in the distinctive bottle with the red label with Smirnoff printed across the top and a bright red screw top lid. It was forst developed by Pierre Smirnoff for the Imperial Russian Court in the late eighteen hundreds and is triple ... Read the complete review

I am the sort of person that doesnt really like the taste of most alcohol-if it tastes strong, i wont like it. i certainly cant stand neat or drinks on the rocks, it has to be disguised for me to drink it, for example in a cocktail, or alcopops-somethin i never did grow out of from my teenage years. For a long time i went off of vodka-it used to be my drink of choice when i was at college, with coke, until i over indulged one night and it put me off-i now cannot stand even the smell of vodka and coke, as it reminds me of that night-before then, i used to drink it regularly, as i thought that i couldnt really taste the alcohol. i'm not really a big drinker, having had 3 ...
