Advantages: Great drink

Disadvantages: Needs a mixer

Being a bit of a party girl I have always enjoyed a drink and my work means that I get bought quite a few drinks as well so I often go for vodka and tonic, even though it does not take much to get me drunk and I become a bit of a wild thing when I'm over the limit.

Smirnoff is one of the best known brands of vodka howeve it is not my favourite as I prefer Absolut if I have a choice.

Smirnoff is a clear liquid and comes in the distinctive bottle with the red label with Smirnoff printed across the top and a bright red screw top lid. It was forst developed by Pierre Smirnoff for the Imperial Russian Court in the late eighteen hundreds and is triple distilled for extra purity.

I do find that it is quite a smooth vodka but it is still too harsh to drink on its own and to be honest I prefer to mix it with tonic water and ice in a long glass with a lime in it, if I need an energy boost I will drink it with red bull as it has a real kick to it.

It is 37.5% proof and while there are much stronger vodka on the market that level of strength is fine as far as I'm concerned.

Anyway needless to say I will be indulging myself this evening, happy new year to one and all.
