Amongst a vast choice of vodka's available on the market I will usually find myself going to the same old one. This is always Smirnoff Vodka. I am a big fan of cocktails and spirits in general so I will always try a vast majority of different brands. I will have a mix of the cheaper with the more expensive but I always find the same ... I no vodka expert by any matter of means but I certainly do know that Smirnoff is a not too shabby quality, well price vodka. It's possibly the most famous of them all, everyone knows a smirnoff bottle when they see one! When I'm heading to a party or similar events and if drinking vodka chances are it will be a bottle of Smirnoff that ... Read the complete review

Smirnoff vodka is pretty much the standard for most vodka to be judged. It is not the nicest vodka on the market by any margin, but it is certainly a very good marker because it is a reasonably high quality spirit at a very good price. Morrissons, for example, had an offer of 1L bottles for £10 a while back which makes it exceptionally good ... Read the complete review

New Years eve. The time to celebrate the end of a good year and to welcome a great new one or simply a time to get bladdered? Well that's up to you. My Brother chose to get bladdered and this was one drink among many last year that he was drinking. I'd got him a fairly big 70cl bottle for about £12 from ASDA. It's a clear bottle like ... Smirnoff Vodka I spent about three months living in Azerbaijan back in 2001. I loved the experience but it taught me a lot about vodka. It's a former communist country and some of the areas are very poor. The one thing everyone has in common is there love of vodka. It was available almost everywhere. I learnt from a colleague how to ... Read the complete review

Vodka is definately my drink. Its strong for when you are playing the catch up game and mixes well to make good cocktails. Smirnoff Triple Distilled Vodka has to be the route of all evil (along with money). It makes you do things you wish you hadn't and gives you a mouth like dusty flip flop the next day. So why is it such a big seller? The bottle I have is just a small , 20cl, as we are not huge vodka drinkers and comes in a clear glass bottle with a red ... Read the complete review

Up until very recently I have been a Glens drinker and was never really a fan of Smirnoff as it seems to be a bit stronger. But going out more to pubs and clubs recently I have realised that it is Smirnoff they usually sell and given the right measure it takes ok with coca cola. Smirnoff has quite a distinctive taste compared to other ... Read the complete review

Triple distilled, premium and stodgy strong, Smirnoff vodka is something that i will be buying again! Forget naff supermarket makes with tacky bottles, weird ingredients added in and sticky labels. Available in 70cl bottles or gigantic 1 litre buys, these fly off the shelf more thanany other vodka brand. Why? Because its so damn good! ... Read the complete review

Now Smirnoff doesn't taste nice, whether you have it neat (wait what Vodka's do taste bearable neat?) or with coke, what i'm generally trying to say is there are other cheaper vodkas that still have the desired effect in terms of alcohol quantity and "taste". Smirnoff usually sells at about £12 for a 70cl and about £15 for a litre ... Read the complete review

I have been a Vodka drinker for around 10 years now and for cost and taste i find it hard to find a better brand than Smirnoff. It is not the cheapest brand out there and it is certainly not the most expensive too making it ideal for your average Vodka fan. Smirnoff vodka usually come in at around £10.99 for a 70cl bottle or ... Read the complete review

I have been a prolific smirnoff drinker for over 35 years now so consider myself somewhat of an expert! For many years I drank vodka with diet coke until I developed an allergy to caffeine (thanfully not alcohol!) so then changed to vodka and slimline tonic which I still very much enjoy today. However with the advent of Sex in the City I felt ... Read the complete review

Smirnoff or Huzzar, the two most common brands of vodka available in most off licenses (well near me anyway). Smirnoff has an alcohol percentage of 37.5, which is quite strong. While it's not the cheapest of vodka, and I'll admit during financialy less secure times a trip to the local cheap shop for some Eastern European unknown vodka can be ... Read the complete review

The only variables for me which alter which alcohol, including spirits, I buy are cost and taste. So it is personal. For me the cost of Smirnoff is so ridiculously low that if I needed a large supply (for a party of something ie in excess of 10 bottles) I would opt for Smirnoff as I can not sink as low as buying "White Spirit", just to ... Smirnoff Vodka may as well be used to strip paint off of the walls. It did a very good job of stripping my insides with only a few drinks. I'm unsure what the appeal with vodka is, as it certain has an acquired taste. Personally I find the taste rather unappealing even when masked by other soft drinks such as Coca cola. The taste is that ... Read the complete review

Smirnoff is certainly different from other vodka's. It doesn't taste as sweet and is easier to drink neat. I love mixing it with lemonade or orange juice, those are the best mixers. It has a very smooth taste and this comes out when you add ice. Sometimes they have special offers i.e. competitions and the price is generally higher than standard vodka's but when supermarket's do special offers it is normally about £10 for a 70cl bottle. Once you've had Smirnoff it's hard to go back to any other brand. I've had Absolut and this is no way as good - the taste is not as distinct.

I run a bar and bodka is one of our biggest selling spirits. We don't actually sell Smirnoff bu ti have run a number of places that do and Smirnoff red is usually the standard house pouring vodka. My favourite tipple has got to be Smirnoff vodka, the Czar of vodka's. My favourite is the red label, which is the most common. You can also get blue label or black label. The current Smirnoff claims to continue the traditions of Poitr Smirnov, purveyor to the Imperial Russian Court from 1886 - 1917, though his first vodka distillery ... Read the complete review
