... but as trying to cut back on calories before Christmas. On this basis, I have been trying a few of the lighter varieties and must admit that this is one of the best that I have tried. This is a clear lemon and lime flavoured drink and it definitely has a citrus tang. It tastes sweet, despite being low sugar but unfortunately, does have a very slight aftertaste that seems to be common with these low sugar drinks. Ingredients are as follows; Carbonated Water, Citric Acid, Flavourings, Sweeteners (Aspartame, Acesul...more

Sprite Zero Description: Manufacturer: Coca-Cola / Soft Drinks You cay buy 500ml and 2 litre bottles and also in tins. The packaging is bright green and has the Sprite Zero logo on the front. Expect to pay around £1 for a 500ml bottle, £1.25 for a 2 litre one and around £0.60 per can. There are only 1.1 calories per 100ml of Sprite Zero so this is definitely a better option that full sugar drinks. I really like fizzy drinks but as trying to cut back on calories before Christmas. It's my 400th review - am I going to write it on something meaningful, poignant or philosophical? Nope! Just a simple soft drink, Sprite Zero. I bought a bottle of it along with my boyfriend's Coke the other day as it was 2 for £1.60 in Sainsbury's, one of the closest things they do to a reasonable price. It came in a dark blue bottle, which I thought looked nice, with a black screw cap and a silver strip of shiny paper wrapped round it proclaiming it was 'Sprite Zero'. The difference between Zero and normal is that Zero has no sugar. Effectively a re-branding that started with 'Coke Zero', which presumably is aimed at men (as opposed to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sprite Zero: Not bad...Not great, but Not bad... (422 words)

Whilst paying for petrol this morning and feeling a bit on the dry side I scoured the fridges in the petrol station for something that would quench my thirst. Not being keen on full sugar fizzy drinks and not liking Diet Coke at all I picked up a 500ml bottle of Sprite Zero. Contained in a bottle similar to what is pictured, mine had a white label on informing me that this is a lemon and lime fizzy drink, the reverse of the bottle informed me that there was only 1.0kcal in the whole bottle and no fat, carbs, sugar etc. Upon opening the bottle the drink is very fizzy and you can see the bubbles escaping from the top, you are met with a lemon scent ...  Read the complete review

I recently started drinking Sprite Zero whilst on the atkins diet. I was struggling to find a drink that was sweet and refreshing without the carbohydrate and sugar content, so was very pleased when I spotted this on offer whilst shopping at Tesco. Sprite Zero still has the great Lemon and Lime flavour, and is very refreshing. I do agree with other reviewers however that have stated that it goes flat very quickly. This is correct and it is true that it does not taste as good once this has happened and for some reason much of the flavour is lost. As I mentioned previously, I bought this for the Atkins diet purpose and the nutritional information is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sprite Zero: Zero sugar, Zero taste (296 words)

I was very thirsty today while out shopping so was pleased to see some Sprite Zero bottles in my local discount store reduced to just 29p for a 500ml bottle. I find Sprite refreshing and that was exactly what I needed, the fact that it contains no sugar is an added bonus as I am currently trying to be good on my diet after a disappointing weigh-in this morning. What a disappointment this drink was! It's one of those which start of intensely fizzy but this quickly disappears and within minutes I was left with a drink that was as flat as the proverbial pancake. Not to be put off (I was very thirsty!) I took a swig and, well, almost spat it straight ...  Read the complete review
