... bottle is nothing overly fancy (and differs in colour from the one above) but is enough to grab your attention on the shelves. The shape of the glass bottle is tall and thin with a stubby neck and is a deep dark brown in colour. The two smaller sized bottles have gold caps that require a bottle opener, but the larger 500ml has a convenient screw top which makes it the better option to buy. One of my favourite alcoholic beverages of recent times is the mighty fine pear cider. I have become rather attached to the stuff and though used to love my red wine that seems to have taken a back seat. I have tried a few different pear ciders since discovering how tasty and refreshing it is and along with Kopperberg (see seperate review) this is one of my favourites. So all pear ciders taste the same, right? Erm, no. And here's my opinion on this wonderful tipple..
