My little book recommended this wine quite strongly, also stating that it was "excellent value for money" - so I flung a bottle (carefully!) into my basket. The bottle and label are pleasant but unremarkable, with green being very much the theme. "Mmm... wine...!" The background: I enjoy both red and white wines, and although I have my favourites that slip into my trolley with startling regularity, I do enjoy trying different wines from time to time. I'm afraid I have one of those poncey little wine guide books, and I am occasionally to be seen standing in the fine wine section of a supermarket near me, clutching my book and surveying the racks with a bemused expression on my face. I'm fond of dry white wines, especially Sauvignon Blancs, and usually stick to New Zealand-born SBs, as they tend to be excellent.
