Advantages: gets ya pised...quick
Disadvantages: drink to much ya'l be sick!
Stella, a stronghold of lager making.
This is a favourtite in Britain. If you want something with more kick [ and taste ] that any 4.9 to 5.0% beer try this. I'm pretty sure its 5.5% alcohol, and boy, that little difference does a world of good.
Its great for drinking on a hot summers day, although it cannot be used as a constant drink like Budweiser can, due to its heavy flavour. This is only a minor quibble, however, because England doesnt have many hot days!
It has a odd, flavour, a mix of clean and crisp with a potent kick. It has a well pronounced hoppiness, but dont get it wrong, its no stout. It also has a slight sweetness, although not as sweet as French lager. On the taste rating it gets a nine.
Stella is a homely drink, it was the first thing I drank regularly. When I was watching the rugby me and my mates would crack out a case and start drinking [ or " Slugging " ]. It is readlily avaidable from any supermarket of corner shop, unlike some great beers, so if you ever ru out there will always be another six pack waiting.
This, and Budweiser, will always be my king of beers.
So drink up lads, I've got a keg!
Summary: STELLA... it's ya new girlfriend!!
