Very Refreshing Lager (Stella Artois)

Before I start my review I must admit I',m not really a lager drinker I'm more of a bitter man myself. However some kind soul gave me a pack of four Stella Artois for Christmas and so not to offend them I gladly put them in the cupboard for a rainy day.

Tonight was that rainy day. Sitting in front of the TV I drank a couple of bottles. Firstly do not attempt to remove the bottle top with your hands or teeth - you will need a bottle opener. I never acually drank mine cold. I've got quite sensitive teeth so prefer cold drinks from the cupboard rather than the fridge.

The bottle itself was 33cl and had an alcohol content of 5.2%vol. It was extremely refreshing and as it was not a full pint it didn't take long to drink. It says on the bottle that it was brewed in the UK.

It is rather 'fizzy' although the taste is extremely refreshing and because of the alc vol it has a whopping 1.7 units of alcohol. This is certainly worth bearing in mind if you are driving. As I'm not driving I'm off for another bottle.

Summary: A nice bodied lager
