Stella Artois Stella Artois is a Belgian lager of 5.2% volume brewed by InBev, the largest brewer in the world. It is one of their most successful brands. As well as being served in pints on draught it comes in all the usual size cans and bottles as well and is retailed by all major off licenses and supermarkets. On licensed ... Stella Artois, delicious but evil. This is one of the stronger options on the market, at 5.2% ABV it can really blow your head off on a night out. This used to be my chosen pint when going out, but have since stopped drinking it due to some of the messy nights I have had on it. The strength of the lager seems to be quite mis-leading. ... There are two main strong lagers in pubs one is kronenberg ( 5% i think ) and the other is stella ( 5.2% ) these are the daddies of lager. stella has a little bit of a name as its strong and the yobs drink it and get into trouble etc basically they cant handle its strengh. its only 5.2 which is a good rate not too weak not too strong, ... **Introduction** I have reviewed a wide range of things in my time on dooyoo and have done a few drinks reviews So I decided to add to my drinks reviews with a rundown of Stella Artois lager. As you may know Stella Artois is a huge player in sponsorship and has it's own sponsored Tennis tournament at Queens Club in the run up to ... Read the complete review

Stella Artois is a premium larger that is widely available in off licences, as well as bars and clubs. This lager comes from Leuven in Belgium but is also marketed internationally, and is one of the top selling lagers in the UK. It is served on draught in bars and also comes packaged in a variety of different sized bottles ... Read the complete review

A lot of people seem to have a big misconception about Stella Artois so I thought I'd write this review to remind people about it's good points. You might have heard this brand of lager being referred to as "wife beater" in the past because of its reputation for turning men abusive. Now I'm afraid that I believe either ... Known as "wife beater" in some circles Stella Artois is one of the stronger lagers you can buy in the United Kingdom. I must be honest the only time I really drink lager is on a hot day in the summer and even then I would only have the odd bottle of a half pint. It is marketed as a premium brand lager originating from Belgium, ... Read the complete review

i drink stella, not a big drinker, but if i was drinking lager this would be it, after a couple cans im feeling a bit drunk, 6 cans and im on the floor, im female and it really does have a bad affect on me, i get very aggressive, my other half is covered in bruises, black eye and cuts from me last nite. so its true. i only had 2 cans by the way, ... After a hot day, there is nothing nicer than having a beer, for me a lager is my drink of choice. When I was younger it would be a pint of whatever was served in the pub I would be standing in at the time. I tended to avoid the premium (strong) rated lagers, not for one particular reason in particular, more a combination of reasons, the price, ... Read the complete review

This is a favourtite in Britain. If you want something with more kick [ and taste ] that any 4.9 to 5.0% beer try this. I'm pretty sure its 5.5% alcohol, and boy, that little difference does a world of good. Its great for drinking on a hot summers day, although it cannot be used as a constant drink like Budweiser can, due to its heavy ... Read the complete review

First off, most Stella Artois is not brewed in Belgium. It is an international brand that is usually made in or near the country where it is sold. It is made by InBev, the largest volume beer maker in the world - bigger producers even than the Bud people. Second, I would be surprised if it is 6.5% alcohol by volume anywhere. 5.2% ... This is without doubt my favourite Lager. Not a fan of lagers such as Fosters, as their a bit weak. If you're looking for a Lager with a bit of a kick then go for Stella every time. 5% in bars, but if you buy this in a can or bottle then its slightly stronger. If you're going out on a night out, then this is not such a good drink to ... Read the complete review

I really do love this lager but to be honest nearly everything thats wrong with our country can be related back to this premium strength beverage. So here i go with the list: 1. The obvious - Binge drinking, i know a handful of lads around the age of 21 who already have significant liver damage, the drink i see them ordering the most is ... Read the complete review

I have always liked Stella Artois and it is my favorite drink, and always will be. Anyway I do not know what to write about this drink except that it has a great taste and given me some great nights out. The only bad thing about the drink I have ever heard from anyone was by someone in London, he said 'People who drink Stella are wife beaters' ... Read the complete review

In life we seem to blame anyone or anything for all sorts things that go wrong, but there?s one culprit who probably gets more than his fair share of blame. The Stella. Stella is the top selling lager in the UK, and it even sells over double the amount of its nearest rival (Carling). That’s not a surprise to me. It’s one of my favourite lagers, mainly because it tastes so much better than the others. It is readily available, in pubs, supermarkets and off-licences. That’s got to be ... Ask for it by name! It's generally the strongest in the pub and it is generally the best known.
