There's nothing I like better than kicking off the throws of the week and getting down to some serious drinking. Who is there to help me, well it can only Stella. I do have one problem with Stella. It's the fact that the Belgium people have kept the best for themselves. On a recent trip to Brussles I had the ... Read the complete review

Belgium has to be one of the best countries for brewing lager and beer in the world. But Stella Artois is not exactly amoung the best to come out of Belgium. I have to say that the advertising campaign in this country makes me laugh. "Reassuningly expensive"....only in Britain, where they have pushed up the price because it is ... Read the complete review

I used to drink miller beer a lot,but now after having stella for the last few sessions i am a firm believer in the qualities of this beer. Not too strong on the palet, yet it is 5.2% alcohol level. At first the taste is a bit strong but i reckon that is only for the initial transition period from your usual or favourite tipple. Another ... Read the complete review

We are talking Stella Artois here. Just wondering if it should be Queen because of the name Stella! Who cares it is the most regal of lagers, head and shoulders above the rest. Although it tastes better than all the the other premium lagers, there is still a downside to it.What, you may ask? It's the fact that it is brewed in ... Read the complete review

I often remark that I can’t drink as much as I used to be able to, in a vain attempt to cover up my drunken high jinx and apparent memory loss. The apportionment of blame for this usually falls solely at the feet of age, if age has feet, that is. Namely, that my advancing years have reduced my drinking capacity somewhat. However, ... Ahh what a drink. Summer is here (sort of) and soon the ladies will be disrobing and all that is left is to sit in the pub or the garden, or the pub garden and drink a cold pint of the good stuff. It IS good stuff, from the first time i tried it i knew i was onto a winner, and now i am a seasoned drinker it still never disappoints. The ... Read the complete review

As a female version of the lager lover (yes men, there are loads of us out here!), I find I prefer this to all other lagers. When one of mates ask me what I want to drink, I say 'a pint', but if they don't know me, they get me flipping heinekin! I can tell the difference straight away, it has'nt quite got the same quality ... Read the complete review

The thing about stella which sets it apart from other 'premium' lagers at the moment is that it is incredibly cheap! The irony of this will not be missed by anyone who watches telly as the whole marketing idea behind the beer is that it is expensive. If you've just come back from the pub your probably wondering what I'm on ... Read the complete review

Since I was younger Stella has played a big part of my life, I remember sneaking some in in my lunch box at school! It clean, crisp and easy to drink taste set it apart from any other beers on the UK market. It is a lager that most people find drinkable, even the most seasoned bitter drinkers can stomach it. It also not very gassy ... Read the complete review

Ahh, the beer that destroys parts of the body that other beverages won't even dare to look at. I still class myself as a young man so I don't really have that much experience before I discovered this beautiful mind boggler. I used to drink Budweiser in quantities that some would say was very bad for me and others would pat me on the back ... Read the complete review

If you want a quality lager, then Stella's your poison. Strong, in both flavour and alcohol (well, it's 5.2%) and full of body. It doesn't fill you up like some other beers, not as gassy. It doesn't repeat on you too badly either. It flows very well, with friends, alone or with nibbles (peanuts, snacks etc..) It ... Read the complete review

As a lager lover, I used to drink Stella Artois all the time. It is probably the most readily available of lagers ? I certainly can't recall a pub that doesn't sell it. It is smooth and tasty, though a little gassy perhaps. According to the ads it is the lager that man would do anything to have. A few years ago I ... Read the complete review

This has to be Belgium's greatest export. What do you mean there is no competition? There's Tin Tin and erm Hercule Poirot and well that’s about it. But don't let that detract from the quality of this lager. The advertising behind Stella Artois is "Reassuringly Expensive" this is quite a bold statement to ... Read the complete review

Stella has obtained the reputation of being one of the finer beers to grace these shores. Its' regualar adevertisments and appearances on TV shows has ensured that Stella has remained constantly in the spotlight. Stella is a strong lager, arond 5.2%ABV in the UK. The packaging is good I must admit. The can does echo a certain quality ... Read the complete review
