When it comes to Stork Premiere, Morocco's 3rd main beer - it's all in the name and design. The bottle looks like a medicinal bottle from the 17th century and I can only hope that medicine in those days didn't taste this bad! Apart from the incredibly retro label, there's nothing positive (if that was positive?) to say when it comes to Stork. Having already had 2 poor types of Moroccan beer, I didn't hold a lot of hope from the awkwardly named Stork.

My reservations were proved correctly, when poured it's a darkish golden colour, there's medium fizz and a reasonable size head which doesn't disappear immediately. The bubbles seem to be quite large, there's no smell to this mysterious liquid but all is revealed in the revolting taste.

A bland, rather sweet beer with no notable tastes other than the occasional gulp of extraordinary bitterness that tastes like earwax. I can't recommend this beer to anyone but the uncouth bottle clearly shows what awaits and could be worth collecting as a souvenir!

Whilst curiosity may lead you to try one of these, only a mad man would dare dabble with seconds!
