... something of a (very amateur) wine connoisseur I think!! On to the wine in question - undoubtedly one of my favourites - White Zinfandel. In fact it is not white - it is a light fruity rose, and by fruity I mean VERY fruity. Zinfandel is generally one of the darker red wines hence the rose variety being known as "white". Just to clarify the situation, before I launch into the opinion, I am chiefly basing this opinion on "Stowells" White Zinfandel rather than "Blossom Hill" but having regularly drunk (yes, I'm regularly drunk!) both varieties I will refer to both in this opinion but it is chiefly about the Stowells variety. Well, small details aside, let's get on with it! I confess to being a "born again" wine lover!
