Advantages: Delicious, refreshing and different

Disadvantages: Not yet widely stocked in pubs and shops.

As someone who loves cider, and enjoys fruit flavours, and having seen some adverts for this one recently, I was pleased to see it in my local last night and I decided to try it. There are 2 different fruit flavoured ones; I have only tried the berry one so far.

I should also add that I really dislike Strongbow as I find it too acidic and it dries my mouth out. However, this does not taste like Strongbow. Truth be told, it does not taste like cider full stop; at least I was not able to taste any hint of apple flavour.

It has a strong berry scent and flavour; like any fruits of the forest compote or yoghurt; admittedly slightly artificial but delicious nonetheless. The drink was very tasty and also refreshing, and did not give me the nasty breath that some ciders do, nor did it get me as drunk as some ciders do, all of which are positive things.

The bottle size I was able to buy was smaller than the sizes I am used to as I normally buy Bulmers at my local which is more than a pint's worth. But it's still worth it; good things come in small packages, and all that....

Summary: Strongbow but nothing like it.
