Advantages: Refreshing and tasty

Disadvantages: Expensive

I am a cider drinker. I love the stuff. However, I'm not a huge fan of the fruity varieties. At least, not until now.

I bought this on a whim, not expecting much but hoping for a light refreshing drink with the added bonus of cider. This is definitely what this cider is. It's like a more mature alcopop. Very easy to drink, you can quite easily drink more than you think as it does just taste like a fruit juice. It's lovely served over ice.

Unfortunately it's quite a bit dearer than the other bottled ciders which are currently widely available. I have noticed it on special offer in Asda, buy two for £5 (I think, I honestly can't remember the exact price, however it did seem to be quite a saving, and well worth looking out for).

I've also noticed that my local pub sells it by the bottle, with lovely branded glasses to serve it in. Bearing in mind I live in a wee village on the outskirts of Glasgow, it may well be that it's quite easy to find elsewhere.

Summary: A lovely, but quite expensive, fruity cider.
