The best cider around (Strongbow Jacques Fruit Cider)
Member Name: shaneo632
Advantages: Superb taste Disadvantages: Expensive
I'm not much of a cider man, but this caught me eye once in the shops, so I bought a bottle and was pleasantly surprised. This is just the right alcoholic beverage for a hot Summer's night, and puts a lot of other ciders, notably their own regular Strongbow, right to shame. It may not be cheap, at about £3.30 per 750ml bottle (which is almost exactly 1.5 pints), but it does have a volume of 5.5%, which is somewhat higher than most beers. They come in two flavours that I'm aware of - Fruits des bois, and Orchard Fruits. Summary: Lovely taste although expensive |
