Jaques Fruit Cider It was only recently that I tried Jaques cider, and I have to say I was really surprised about how good it tasted. It is very sweet and conatins lots of sugar, but without being at all sickly. It also doesn't taste too alocoholic, and is very morish, I finished half of a bottle with no effort at all. At 5.5% vol it is ... Read the complete review

I will be talking about the Jacques Fruits Des Bois Cider With Fruit. Wow, I feel posh after saying that! You've also got Jacques Orchard Fruits Cider With Fruit, but I am yet to try it. I'd first heard of Jacques many months ago when I was working as a secretary and one of my colleagues asked me if I'd tried it. I hadn't a ... Read the complete review

At last I can have a tipple. I have been pregnant for such a long time and it has come now that I have a night off from being a mother and can enjoy a relaxing drink. I stumbled accross this in co-op priced at £1.79 a bottle. The bottle is 750ml and is 5.5% this is strong to be honest. I will only have one glass of this at any time I ... Read the complete review

I'm not much of a cider man, but this caught me eye once in the shops, so I bought a bottle and was pleasantly surprised. This is just the right alcoholic beverage for a hot Summer's night, and puts a lot of other ciders, notably their own regular Strongbow, right to shame. It may not be cheap, at about £3.30 per 750ml bottle (which is almost ... Read the complete review

Jacques fruit cider is a relatively new drink to the market and is described as a combination of sparkling cider and 13% fruit juice. It has an alcoholic content of 5.5% and is recommended to be served over ice. Jacques is produced under the Strongbow brand in Belgium, but is in fact produced by its sister company, Stassen. The drink ... Read the complete review

I've only recently started to like 'Strongbow', and it was a while back that I first tried this. Back then I didn't like it so much, however now I have become to like it, but it isn't something I'm going to rave about. Firstly the taste isn't really anything special. I find that the fruity taste does come through, but it's bland and not ... Read the complete review

I'm sure i'm not the only one that drunk cider as a teenager. After this I was put of cider for what I thought would be for life but as everything else does cider changes and that certainly happened when I came across this bottle whilst shopping in Morrisons one night. Jacques is a fairly new Belgian style cider from Strongbow. Priced ... Read the complete review

Jacques is an alcoholic drink, it's cider with fruit and recommended to be served over ice. I tried this about a year ago on a recommendation from a friend and now it has become one of my favourite drinks. When I think of cider I think of 14 year olds in a park with a bottle of White Lightening or Asda's Smart price cider so ... Read the complete review

Jacques Fruit De Bois Cider is one of the staples of my summer. It tastes so fantastically refreshing served chilled over a large glass of ice - seriously one sip of this and you'll be in heaven! The blend of apples, strawberries and various berries glides effortlessly down your throat and you'll soon be going back for a top up. I do find I get to ... Read the complete review

I stumbled across this drink in my local co-op. It was on special offer and I was ought buying in a few bits for an evening entertaining my mother and father in law. Knowing that Mothere in law likes cider, I thought that this might be a nice drink for her. Now I am usually not a lover of cider ... i don't know if my sense of smell is ... Read the complete review

I am not a big drinker and have never liked cider until one of my friends encouraged me to try Jaques. What I like about it is that is doesnt have a strong alcoholic taste. It actually has a very unique taste. This is unlike any other cider I have tried. A nice fruity flavour. It is perfect for me as I dont really like wine and usually struggle ... What a lovely refreshing drink!! I came across this drink a few months back in a pub called 'Jax'. They were promoting the drink as it shared the same name (spelt differently though). For this one night it was a special price at 3 pounds. I thought this was a decent price as the bottle was quite large and it was nicely chilled and ... Read the complete review

I am a cider drinker. I love the stuff. However, I'm not a huge fan of the fruity varieties. At least, not until now. I bought this on a whim, not expecting much but hoping for a light refreshing drink with the added bonus of cider. This is definitely what this cider is. It's like a more mature alcopop. Very easy to drink, you can ... Read the complete review

As someone who loves cider, and enjoys fruit flavours, and having seen some adverts for this one recently, I was pleased to see it in my local last night and I decided to try it. There are 2 different fruit flavoured ones; I have only tried the berry one so far. I should also add that I really dislike Strongbow as I find it too acidic ... Read the complete review

Having not been much for the Gaymers Pear Cider, I must have been on a mission to try different ones, however it had been recommended to me to try Strongbow Jacques with Fruit. Initially I wasn't reallt that keen on trying it as I never have any blackcurrant or anything like that in my cider, I just have it as it comes. The Strongbow ... Read the complete review

Absolutely delicious! Even if you don't like cider, give this a try. It's fresh, fruity and light enough to drink on its own, or add lemonade for a Sangria-style drink.
I tried the Fruits des Bois version, but if there are others, I'll be testing them at the weekend!
