I thought I would write a review on my favourite alcoholic drink of the past 5 years - Strongbow. I really don't think you can beat this drink for pure refreshment, after a couple of hours of chilling in the fridge it tastes fantastic, sometimes too good that within 10-15 minutes a can is gone! I've been really pleased over the last few years to see strongbow appearing in more and more pubs and bars on tap. It seems to be getting more and more popular with people, as they turn further away form the traditional bitters, and lagers, and lots of female drinkers are enjoying it as an alternative to Lager and lime, or alcopops. Strongbow is reasonably priced in most shops / supermarkets, where it is regularly on an offer of 8 cans for £6, or some special deal on a box of 12 or 18 cans, which is considerably less than some of the other cider brands like magners and Bulmers. I have tried dropping a bit of ice into the strongbow before, especially on a hot day, and it works well.
A fantastically refreshing drink, which is becoming more readily available, and more popular, Bring on that sunshine, and let the Bow Flow 8-)
