In the age of the credit crunch a lot of us are looking for cheaper alternatives on our nights in and out, the pub trade is rapidly declining and I don't go out as often as I used too, partly due to getting older and partly to save some cash. Now I am a lightweight when it comes to alcohol, I blame this on the fact that I am 5ft 1 and ... Read the complete review

I had my first glass of strongbow at a new years party when i was 14, i have never really been a fan of beer... so that was the only other drink going round at the time, so it was either cider... or stay sober.. I love the taste of strongbow now, i have a couple of glasses a week, and if im at a party 2 litres to myself will do to get me ... Read the complete review

It might be the UK's most popular, but I can't really say that Strongbow is the tastiest cider available in the UK. Strongbow is a well known cider brand, always available on tap in virtually every pub you go into up and down the UK. I've always been a cider drinker, and I grew up on strongbow, liking the taste, but after a while I ... Read the complete review

At first, you open the can, and are greeted with a smelle which can unfortunately sometimes resemble a urinal, but upon dasting this delight, you are guaranteed to be pleasantly surprised! I had my first drink of strongbow many years ago now, and remember thinking that it was revolting, however when i turned 18 and settled down for a ... Read the complete review

I do like a tipple at the weekend but with the price of decent wine going higher and higher at the moment I decided to try a change - I have not had strongbow for a very long time and a change is as good as a rest so they say! This cost me £3.50 for 4 cans in my local tesco express at the weekend. It comes in a large ring pull can , ... Read the complete review

To me strongbow is the perfect blend between what is your traditional apple cider and the foul tasting white lightening. It sits right there in the middle of the spectrum in terms of taste. I like the fact that it is quite sweet yet dry at the same time. Furthermore it is not super gassy like the cheaper brands tend to be nor is it super strength. ... Read the complete review

Strongbow Ah, a nice pint of Strongbow sitting in the beer garden on a warm summers day - can't really get much better than that can you! I'm not really much of a cider girl - vodka and lemon or Malibu and diet coke is more of my thing. But when my finances start to dip (which happens on a regular basis), I always go ... As a student i naturally drink a lot of alcohol. I am also someone who tends to find it quite hard to drink lager as it is too fizzy for me and takes me too long to drink a pint. When i got to uni i thought i would try a number of different drinks and I have now settled on strongbow. Strongbow is a great drink and there are a lot of us at ... Read the complete review

**** Strongbow **** I met up with my friends a few weeks back to find them drinking strongbow. Now cider is something i haven't had to drink since i was about 13 years old so i was a little skeptical when my friends said that it tasted nice-that's not the way i remembered cider. ** The product ** Strongbow can be ... Strongbow is almost in a catogery of it's own in relation to other ciders. It comes in around the middle of the market, with ciders such as Magners, Bulmers and Gaymers being the higher end of the market and advertising there cider as an 'over-ice' cider with much advertising accompanying it. These ciders are usually found in larger, more ... Read the complete review

I vowed that I would never drink cider again. As a youngster, and as many of you probably have done yourself, its all part and parcel of growing up that when you are out with your friends you have a bottle of cider, normally the cheap white cider along the lines of in my day, White Lightening, White Knight and Graphite, and if you had a bit morer ... I think that strongbow is great. It is cheap, alchoholic and does not taste like pee like White Lightning. I suppose you are only going to drink it if you like cider but it has become my drink of choice over the last year or so and I am not even a student anymore! Most good offie that you go into will do you a 6 for £5 deal. It is ... Read the complete review

refreshing summer drink or chosen poisen of the youngsters of today? You may be of the opinion that this is the drink of choice of the young hooligans that go around causing trouble nowadays, and in many ways you are correct. But is this a good enough reason to disregard the drink as a bad job? i dont think so. The youth of today would abuse ... Read the complete review

I had long held the idea that cider in all of its forms was the drink of choice for those scally 12 year olds who harras you outside of the corner shop into buying them 'ciggies'. That all changed on my first night at university last year however when i had my first pint of Strongbow the undisputed king of cider! I ... Read the complete review

Feel bloated after lager? why not try cider. Out shopping this week, I decided to pick up some Strongbow cider. Not my normal choice but, after putting on a few pounds, lager just left me feeling even fatter. What sort of images does the word "cider" conjure up for you? Jokes about country folk and sheep perhaps? Or how about teenagers drinking the stuff while sitting in bus shelters and trying to look cool? I know most of you (UK readers at least!) will surely have tried cider at some point in their lives; probably as something of a ... Read the complete review

Well, I thought I may as well continue my alcoholic goods trend and put my experience in the field to good use, indeed my experience grew not ten minutes ago when I opened this cold can of refreshingly disgusting drink. Strongbow and Dry Blackthorn are the ciders that you can find on tap anywhere. Why I ask myself, they're not the greatest available. Strongbow is brewed in Taunton (and elsewhere now I imagine) and I remember creeping across the tarmac behind the loading bays to steal the crates. Strongbow is a sweet cider, not particularly pale with a ... Read the complete review
