Tastes really nice but doesn't give me wings! (Sugar Free Red Bull)
Member Name: col81
Advantages: Nicer taste than ordinary Red Bull. Nice can size Disadvantages: Doesn't give much of an energy boost.
I first remember seeing Red Bull in my local mini supermarket circa 1991 when I was about 10 and I couldn't believe that a soft drink in a can could cost more than £1! I also wondered about the mystifying promise that it would give me 'wings', what on Earth did this mean?! I didn't try Red Bull till much later on, when I could afford it and I don't know if it gave me wings but it certainly gave me the jitters! Made me shake as though I'd had far too much caffeine. And then I tried the sugar free version. I'm sure, as with all other sugar free/diet soft drinks that it is full of chemical sweeteners which are equally as bad as a load of sugar but I always go for sugar free Red Bull simply because I prefer the taste, it isn't so sickly, and it doesn't make me quiver! Summary: A nice soft drink, doesn't give me wings though. |
