... favourite in the range but it's certainly very refreshing on a hot day and I prefer it as a one-off beer. Svyturys is made in a brewery in Klaipeda on the Lithuanian coast, it was bought by Baltic Beverages Holding which in turn are owned by Carlsberg. Svyturys is readily available in several pubs and supermarkets in the UK and I strongly recommend you try some of them. It's obviously omnipresent in Lithuania as well. Svyturys Baltas is a Lithuanian white beer that comes in a tall sturdy bottle, this exciting "Alus" has a stylish label and is an interesting product of the Svyturys range. The beer is made from unfiltered wheat, has no additives and has a rich sweety fruity taste to it and a hint of lime. The beer has 5.2% alcohol and should be shaken before being opened (this is not a joke!) and then poured into a cool glass for best effects.
