Advantages: Taste, stays fizzy for long, reasonable priced
Disadvantages: None
I tend to drink a lot of fizzy drinks and my drink of choice is Diet Coke. However from time to time I do like to try other drinks especially in places where its not possible to get my referred drink and they sell Tango instead.
Tango Orange is obviously meant to resemble a kind of fizzy orange flavour although its quite difficult to actually describe the taste. While bubbly it isn't as fizzy as other drinks but it does stay bubbly for a while unlike other drinks which I find go flat very soon which completely ruins the taste for me. It tastes sweet but not too overpoweringly so, and you are left with a refreshing taste rather than a phlegm-y taste which I get which coke flavours especially as it feels as though my throat is lined.
Tango Orange is probably my favourite flavour but there are other flavours such as apple and cherry. One thing I quite like about the apple flavour in particular is that it goes well with other drink flavours and during Christmas time I do sometimes create Apple Tango cocktails which I think are like fruity cocktails but with a kick.
The can/bottle always features a picture of the fruit being exploded such as a splitting apple or squashed orange and I must admit it does make me want the drink more. Perhaps because it makes me feel parched and I am never let down when I open it up. A can costs around 70p which is standard of most canned drinks now but again (perhaps because its not as fizzy and more liquid fills the can itself) I have noticed the drink tends to last longer than others. A 2l bottle is usually £1.50-2 depending where you buy and is often cheaper than other brand fizzy drinks. My local Morrisons sells packs of Tango in packs of 4 for a £2 each which I think is an exceptional bargain and if I feel like it at the time I'm always sure to grab at least one pack.
Overall I really enjoy Tango and it tends to be a drink that people neither love nor hate (which is always good for parties where you aren't sure what people's preferences are). Its always refreshing and reasonably priced in the shops I've purchased it from and the taste is always of the same quality. It stays fresh and fizzy for longer than some other fizzy drinks and the flavour is still there even when its still. I would recommend this drink if you like fizzy drinks in both Orange and Apple flavour.
Summary: A great fizzy drink
