Advantages: Higher alcohol content, Good flavout

Disadvantages: Cost

Stronger than your average gin, Tanquery makes a fine G+T if a quality tonic is used. It’s got a good flavour, possibly a little bitter for some, but the higher alcohol content means that it retains a much better clarity and doesn’t suffer from that oily feeling that cheaper gins often have. The somewhat unique bottle design also means that this product stands above others in the market as a much better quality of gin, certainly far above supermarket’s own brands and (in my opinion) better that London Silk or Gordons’. Unfortunately is normally tends to be a bit more expensive than other gins in the same league, but if you buy it when it’s on offer then you can’t go wrong.
