Money! Don't you get fed up with all this talk of recession, bank rates going down etc - well if you have a mortgage you'll be pleased but if you want to have a bit of fun with the interest from money you invested then you will be disappointed , as I am! So this leads me to doing the weekly shopping in Tesco and looking out for bargains. I do love Illy coffee but it is pricey and often there are some good offers on Ground coffee, so while I put some Douwe Egbert coffee in the trolley - another of my favourites, my husband noticed a packet of Taylors of Harrogate Take it Easy ground coffee. I am not really a fan of coffee, neither pure coffee or decafe, or indeed any other sort of coffee. A while back I was persuaded by a friend to try out this brand, just for a taste, and I suprisingly found that I liked it. It has quite a unique taste and smell, which in my view is better than most other coffees and is the main reason that I continue to use this brand on some occasions, such as when a friend comes over or when I need a hot drink after a cold day. Thuis brand of coffee can be purchased from most high street stores and smaller shops, but I couldn't find it in my local branch of Safeways. Whether this is just my store or in general I do not ... Take It Easy New York Deli Roast ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Time to try another one anyway, over in the next village to mine there is another little shop but they had a choice of TWO filter coffees! (I can't wait for my next supermarket trip) So as you can probably guess I chose this one. It was a little more expensive at £2.65 for 227g but this time it came in a rather cute little storage caddy, or tin to you and me, so I paid up the extra few pennies quite happily.
